We are a manufacturer and exporter of Coir and allied Coir products. With a combined industry experience of over 30 years, GI Coir Substrates was started with a vision to create a sustainable future using coconut coir and coir substrates. As a manufacturer, we adhere to best practices to produce high-quality products used across multiple industries.
Our Team
We are a second-generation family-run business with a background in Engineering and Management. After working for various corporations and the government, we as a couple decided to take over the family business and have been running it successfully since 2012.
Quality & Standards
Our manufacturing process adheres to stringent quality standards established by the Government of India. We are proud to say that our coir products adhere to the BIS: 898-2020 standards, as defined by the Central Coir Research Institute, a government organization of India.
Infrastructure
Spread out over 10 acres, our factory handles end-to-end processing and manufacturing of Coco Fiber, Coco Peat, and Coir products. We source the raw materials from our farm and nearby farms to produce the best quality products.
Environment & Sustainability
Coir is one of the most ethnic, eco-friendly, hygienic, and versatile fibers that can substitute wood, plywood, and MDF boards. At the same time, the world is seeking solutions to the rising pollution and the havoc created by deforestation. The coir industry is a key solution to sustainable development.
